The wax figure of US President Donald Trump has been fitted with a mouth mask in the reopened Madame Tussauds wax museum in New York.
The famous wax museum on Times Square in Manhattan closed in March due to the corona epidemic and has reopened for several days, albeit with limited hours, fewer visitors at the same time, and distance rules and hygiene protocols.
The statue of the 45th President of the United States in his signature black suit and red tie stands at the entrance.
“At more than six feet tall, the president has an imposing stature,” Madame Tussauds spokesman told CNN. “That’s why we feel it’s the perfect image to help our guests remember to make their selfies safe with a face mask.”
The real President Trump has often made no secret of the fact that he doesn’t like mouth masks. Only a few times has he been seen in public with mouth and nose covering.
