US President Donald Trump and Joe Biden Will Answer Questions From Voters

US President Donald Trump and his Democratic election challenger Joe Biden have started their so-called town hall meetings, in which they answer questions from voters.

The simultaneous performances of the two are there instead of the initially planned debate. That could not go through because Trump refused to let that debate take place online, as was the organization’s wish.

Biden’s question time actually lasts 90 minutes and is broadcast by news channel ABC News. The town hall meeting takes place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is hosted by ABC newsreader George Stephanopoulos.

The NBC News channel announced on Wednesday that it would broadcast a question time with President Trump. He talks to voters in Miami, Florida.

Viewers and journalists at NBC are critical of the station broadcasting Trump’s town hall meeting at the same time as Biden’s Question Time, preventing Americans from following both.

Trump’s meeting is expected to be better watched by television viewers because it is broadcast on multiple networks (CNBC and MSNBC) while Biden’s meeting can only be seen on ABC.

Next week, Biden and Trump will cross swords again in person. A corona test would have revealed that the president can no longer infect people with the lung virus that he contracted just like nearly 8 million Americans. The first debate between the two in late September was extraordinarily chaotic and tumultuous.
