Mexican President Infected With Coronavirus

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has tested positive for the coronavirus, he announced on Sunday.

He is showing mild symptoms and is under medical treatment. “As always, I am optimistic,” the 67-year-old president said on Twitter.

Obrador is being criticized for his approach to the corona crisis.

In Mexico, almost 150,000 people died from the virus’s effects; more than 1.7 million were infected.
