Kim Jong-un Tackles His Country’s Worst Hardships in New Documentary

North Korea has released a new documentary about its leader Kim Jong-un. In the 110-minute film, the emaciated dictator rides on horseback and tackles his country’s “worst hardships”.

The narrator says nothing about Kim Jong-un’s weight or about the images in which he sometimes limps, but talks about “the mothering side of the leader, which made him give his body completely to realize the dreams of his people”.

What hardships he tackles is not mentioned either, but the country is struggling with famine and has been ravaged by floods and long periods of drought.
