Joe Biden, the Democratic candidate for president of the United States, predicted in his closing campaign rally on Monday that he will win the election on Tuesday.
“I feel we are coming together for a big win tomorrow,” said Biden.
President Donald Trump closed the campaign with five meetings in four different states. The last was in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he also completed his election campaign in 2016.
Biden concluded his campaign Monday in the cities of Cleveland (Ohio) and Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), both in central swing states. Biden’s latest drive-in rally was graced by pop star Lady Gaga, wearing a mouth mask that read “VOTE” (voice).
“It’s time to stand up and take back our democracy,” Biden said in Pittsburgh. “It is time for Donald Trump to pack his bags and go home,” the Democrat said in Cleveland, among others.
Biden is in the lead in the national polls. In the swing states it is a matter of who will win, but for the time being it does not look bad for Biden in the expected crucial swing states of Pennsylvania and Florida.
