Ghislaine Maxwell Transferred to Florida Low-Security Prison to Serve 20 Years in Prison

Ghislaine Maxwell has been transferred to a federal prison in the US state of Florida to serve a 20-year sentence for her involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of minors.

The competent agency has announced this.

Maxwell, 60, was transferred Friday to a low-security prison near the northern city of Tallahassee. The woman has been held in a Brooklyn jail since 2020.

According to the judge, Maxwell was sentenced to 240 months in prison for “participating directly, repeatedly and over numerous years in a horrific scheme to traffic and abuse girls.”

Maxwell officially appealed that verdict on Thursday.
